Algebraic vision
The problem I am thinking the most about right now is Structure-from-Motion for rolling shutter cameras. A rolling shutter camera is a camera that scans space instead of taking the picture all at once, this can produce distorsions when there is movement while taking pictures (like in the picture on the left!). I am interested in using algebraic geometry to study how these distortions can help us obtain more information about the scene than the one we can recover through a global shutter camera.

Discrete geometry
I love polytopes, and my master thesis concerned the implementation of the deformation cone of polytopes in SageMath, you can check that out here. Recently I have become very interested in the applications to ReLU neural networks. I also enjoy other discrete problems, and had a lot of fun joining in some of the conversations that lead to some results for a matroid variant of a bamboo-trimming problem.
